Goals
- develop a shared terminology of literary terms and techniques
- determine novel placement for grade levels
- design instructional strategies for close reading and literary analysis
- integrate AP Vertical stategies within writing instruction
- work with students in small groups to maximize their writing efficiency
- implement "stop and say" strategy with literature to promote fluency in reading
- As a vertical team, we will continue to create rigorous writing opportunities for our students in a collaborative effort to prepare all students for their future whether it is college or the workforce.
